Salary Range : $23.51 $29.38 hourly 8% vacation pay. Job Summary

Employees of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia (Assembly) provide professional non-partisan services to support the democratic institution of Parliament and its members through procedural advice administrative support and information services. The Assembly is an autonomous employer separate from the administrative framework of B.C. government ministries and agencies.

The Precinct Services department is seeking a responsible efficient and dedicated individual for the auxiliary as-and-when position of Cleaner. The successful applicant will be required to work evening shift hours from 4 : 30 pm to 12 : 00 am.

Reporting to the Cleaning Operations Supervisor the Cleaner performs general housekeeping duties and maintains cleanliness of designated areas in accordance with established daily cleaning schedules. This position completes all tasks required to meet cleaning standards as set out by Legislative Facility Services.

Qualifications

Applicants must be / have :

  • A minimum two years work experience in commercial cleaning.

Preference may be given to candidates with the following :

  • Completion of Building Service Worker Levels 1 to 3 courses.
