Job summary

Woodbine Entertainment is seeking cleaners to provide guests with a sparkling experience at our facilities in Toronto, Ontario. You will perform cleaning tasks with attention to detail, following health and safety protocols, and contribute to an outstanding guest experience in a fast-paced entertainment venue.

Ideal candidates have cleaning experience, a valid Ontario driver’s licence (G or G2), AGCO licence, ability to operate cleaning equipment, and comfort with detergents and solvents.

Qualifications

• Industrial and office cleaning experience.
• Valid Ontario driver’s licence “G” or “G2” required.
• Must acquire and maintain a valid AGCO licence.
• Able to operate industrial cleaning equipment.
• Must work with detergents and solvents.
• Able to read, write and converse in English.
• Willing to work shift work, weekends, holidays and overtime.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Solid understanding of WHMIS and Health & Safety procedures.
• Familiar with source separating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting.
• Work independently and as part of a team to create an exceptional guest experience.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in all assigned areas.

A cleaner has a passion for cleanliness and customer service and is able to perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting. An ability to work independently and as part of a team is important while creating an exceptional experience for all. Cleaners are fanatical about cleanliness and pay close attention to detail.

What Are We Looking For

Pay Rate:

$22.12/hour during probation period and $22.87/hour after probation period.
