Job summary

Northwood Plaza Hotel and Banquet Room in Prince George, BC is seeking a Cleaner to join our team. The role is full-time and permanent, with an hourly wage of $19.00 for a 40-hour week, starting as soon as possible.

Responsibilities include floor care, dusting, vacuuming, bed making, stocking supplies, and basic housekeeping tasks throughout the facility. Training is provided, and fluency in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors.
• Dust furniture.
• Vacuum carpets, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture.
• Make beds and change sheets.
• Distribute clean towels and toiletries.
• Stock the linen closet.
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
• Disinfect operating rooms and other areas.
• Clean and disinfect elevators.
• Handle and report lost and found items.
• Respond to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items.
• Provide basic facility information.
• Trash collection and debris removal.
• Launder clothing and household linens.
• Mend clothing and linens.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• Clean windows, walls and ceilings.
• Clean changing rooms and showers.
• Address customer complaints or concerns.
