Job summary

RRS Building in Nanaimo, BC is seeking a self-motivated Cleaner with good interpersonal skills. The position is permanent, full-time, with shifts including Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Early Morning and Morning.

The ideal candidate will clean windows, walls, and ceilings; move heavy items; coordinate with contractors for repairs; perform safety checks; and maintain bathrooms and floors across various sites. Fluency in English is required.

• Experience: at least 1 month up to less than 7 months in a related field.
• Candidate should be dependable and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Clean windows, interior walls, and ceilings.
• Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.
• Work with little supervision.
• Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance.
• Conduct safety and security checks.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax floors and stairs.
• Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps and debris.
