Job summary

AAJ Business Solutions in Innisfail, AB invites applications for a Cleaner role. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and able to work with a team to maintain high cleanliness standards in a hospitality or facility setting.

Job duties include sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, restocking supplies, reporting maintenance issues, and responding to guest requests. Starting as soon as possible, permanent full-time position with 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English.
• Certificate of secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of experience in a related industry (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
• Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting, drapes, and upholstery.
• Make beds and change sheets; restock towels and toiletries.
• Stock linen closet and clean/ disinfect kitchens and bathrooms.
• Disinfect operating areas, elevators, and other surfaces as needed.
• Respond to guest requests and handle lost and found items.
• Clean windows, walls, ceilings, changing rooms and showers.
• Address customer complaints or concerns in a timely manner.

• The candidate will be expected to sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.

• The candidate will be expected to vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.

• The candidate must distribute clean towels and toiletries.
• The candidate must stock the linen closet.
• The candidate will be expected to clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
• The candidate must disinfect operating rooms and other areas.
• The candidate will be responsible for cleaning and disinfecting elevators.
• The candidate must handle and report lost and found items.
• The candidate must respond to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items.
• The candidate will be required to provide basic facility information.
• The candidate will be responsible for picking up debris and emptying trash cans.
• The candidate will be expected to clean the windows, walls, and ceilings.
