Job summary

Cleantech Service Group in Burnaby is seeking a part-time Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness of the building’s common areas. The role runs on weekends with two shifts daily, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM (30-minute break) and 12:30 PM–3:30 PM, starting November 1.

Previous cleaning experience is preferred, and strong English communication is required. You will be responsible for stocking supplies, dusting, mopping, sweeping, waxing floors, vacuuming, and keeping bathrooms sanitary.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning of the commercial property.

Join Our Team as a Cleaner.

We are currently looking for a Cleaner in Burnaby. This will be a part-time position. The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the building’s common areas and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cleaning of the commercial property


• Replenish supplies such as soaps, paper towels and toilet paper


• Cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, waxing floors and vacuuming


• Cleaning spills, broken glass and other messes up as quickly as possible


• Coordinating duties with other cleaners


• Performing maintenance activities related to cleaning such as ensuring bathrooms are sanitary


• Ordering new cleaning supplies as needed

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Cleaning experience is an asset


• Reliable and a good communicator


• Excellent time management skills


• Effective verbal and written communication in English


• Must be proactive and be able to work independently with minimal supervision

Job Type: Part-time, Permanent
Pay rate: $18.50 per hour

Schedule:
