Job summary

Cleantech Service Group is hiring a Cleaner in Vancouver, BC for a full-time permanent role. You will maintain cleanliness of the building's common areas and ensure a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include cleaning, restocking supplies, and coordinating with other cleaners to keep facilities in top condition. Strong English communication and the ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning is preferred.
• Must communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong time-management and reliability are required.
• Proactive, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in English communications.

Responsibilities

• Clean the commercial property and maintain hygiene of common areas.
• Replenish cleaning supplies such as soaps and paper products.
• Dust, mop, sweep, wax floors and vacuum as part of daily tasks.
• Address spills and messes promptly and safely.
• Coordinate duties with other cleaners on site.
• Perform maintenance to keep bathrooms sanitary.
• Order new cleaning supplies as needed.

Join Our Team as a Cleaner.

We are currently looking for a Cleaner in Vancouver. This will be a full-time position. The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the building’s common areas and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cleaning of the commercial property
• Replenish supplies such as soaps, paper towels and toilet paper
• Cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, waxing floors and vacuuming
• Cleaning spills, broken glass and other messes up as quickly as possible
• Coordinating duties with other cleaners
• Performing maintenance activities related to cleaning such as ensuring bathrooms are sanitary
• Ordering new cleaning supplies as needed

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Cleaning experience is an asset
• Reliable and a good communicator
• Excellent time management skills
• Effective verbal and written communication in English
• Must be proactive and be able to work independently with minimal supervision

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pay rate: $20 per hour

Schedule:

• Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Monday - Friday
• Start date: ASAP

Experience:

• Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
