Job summary

Vancouver Talmud Torah Association invites dedicated Classroom Aides on Call to join our vibrant school community in Vancouver. You will support students in inclusive classroom settings and collaborate with teachers to foster learning and growth.

Candidates should have experience working with children in educational settings; training is an asset. Our diverse campus offers meaningful mentorship and opportunities to contribute daily.

Qualifications

• Experience or training working with children in a classroom setting.
• Experience working in a school setting.
• Formal education/training is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Work with students in an inclusive classroom setting as well as on an individual or small group basis.
• Support students in a variety of subject areas with planning, organization and time management.
• Maintain student records, follow IEP recommendations, and review strategies.
• Prepare additional resources and materials to support students with learning differences.
• Work with classroom teachers to help them understand the needs of students.
