Job Description

Delivery and pickup of freight in and around Peace River are performed promptly and safely. Driving a straight truck. This is a full-time day position working Monday to Friday. Flexibility is required.Secure freight while loading the truck for delivery and at the point of pick-up.

Some dock work is required

Pre-trip, mid-trip, and post-trip inspections of the truck.

Home every night, local pick-up and deliveries in the Peace River area.

Qualifications

• Class 5 license
• 1 year of delivery experience
• Forklift experience is an asset
• Physically fit
• Knowledge of the local area is an asset
• Must be willing to relocate to Peace Riverif applying from outside the local area
• ELD and handheld experience is an asset
• Reliable and dependable
• TDG, WHMIS, andForklift experience are an asset
• Must be able to provide a criminal record check, driver's abstract, and 2 work-related references
