Job description

Loraas has immediate openings for a Class 3 Truck Driver – Front Load at our Saskatoon district. Our priority is to give our drivers a great paying career with great incentives!

As a Front Load Garbage Truck Driver, you are responsible for ensuring safe operation of a truck, while driving, loading/unloading. The driver drives to customer locations for pick-up and hoists bins onto the truck to empty contents using a hydraulic lift. The driver proceeds to subsequent customers until the truck has a full load, then dumps the load at a transfer station before continuing customer pickups.

Compensation and Benefits:

• $3,000.00 Retention Bonus (with stipulations)

• Monday to Friday, 4am – 8am start time

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Safe operation of vehicles
• Daily inspection of trucks and accurate completion of related paperwork
• Providing excellent customer service

Requirements:

• Class 3 driver’s license (newly licensed drivers welcome to apply)
• Clean CVOR and abstract
• Front load driving experience is an asset
• Equipment operation experience (e.g., forklift) is an asset
• 2-3 years of Class 3 driving experience preferred

As a condition of employment, all new employees in safety-sensitive positions must pass a substance test within two weeks of their hire date.
