GFL Environmental is hiring a Class 3 Swing Driver in Dawson Creek, BC. The role involves operating Roll Off, Front End, Residential and other trucks with safe, efficient collection methods.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 Driver’s License with Air Brakes and a clean driving abstract.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant commercial driving experience.
• Ability to safely operate heavy commercial collection vehicles and hydraulic packer systems.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate GFL vehicles to complete assigned routes.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections daily and complete required logs.
• Operate hydraulic and compaction systems using proper techniques to prevent equipment damage.
• Promptly report any mechanical write-ups, route hazards, or safety incidents to management.
• Maintain high route productivity, customer service standards, and vehicle cleanliness.
• Adhere to traffic laws, municipal bylaws, company safety policies, and PPE standards.
• Work closely with Dispatchers and Supervisors to support daily operations.
• Perform other operational duties as assigned by leadership.

Requirements

• Licensing: Valid Class 3 Driver’s License with Air Brakes and a clean Driver’s Abstract.

• Service Quality: Maintain high route productivity, customer service standards, and vehicle cleanliness.
• Regulatory Compliance: Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, municipal bylaws, company safety policies, and required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) standards.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with Dispatchers and Supervisors to support smooth, efficient daily operations.
• Additional Duties: Perform other operational duties as assigned by leadership.
