CTS Foods, a leader in food distribution in Quebec, is expanding and is looking for a CLASS 3 Truck Driver to service the Quebec region. Come join us! This candidate must also be self-confident, extroverted, and determined.

Job Summary

The Class 3 License Delivery Driver is essential in ensuring that orders are shipped out on time, to the right location, and extend great customer service to our clients.

Job Tasks
  • Deliver large volume perishable food product orders daily and maintain a clean, organized area.
  • Deliver products safely and timely, with varying routes, maintaining a sense of urgency.
  • Perform efficient loading practices, check load accuracy, secure loads, and ensure products are on the truck.
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections and check load security.
  • Obtain CODs and verify signatures on delivery.
  • Maintain a clean delivery vehicle.
  • Perform daily safety inspections and report concerns.
  • Refuel vehicle as needed and maintain logs.
  • Pick up supplies as requested.
  • Adhere to uniform standards, maintain a professional image, and handle client interactions courteously.
  • Support other food service areas as required.
  • Ensure compliance with MOT regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • One year of truck driving experience (straight truck); food service industry experience is an asset.
  • Valid and clean Class 3 license.
  • Experience with driving straight trucks.
  • Customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and seek help when needed.
  • Well-organized with minimal supervision.
  • Patience and safety consciousness.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 kg.
