A solid waste management company in Lethbridge, Alberta, is seeking a qualified driver to ensure reliable service for solid waste collection and recycling. The ideal candidate will have a Class 3 or higher driver's license, a clean driving record, and at least 3 years of commercial driving experience. Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience with a clean driving record.
  • Roll-Off and/or Front-End Loader experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of the local area is a strong asset.
  • Physically capable: able to climb in and out of trucks.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug tests.

  1. Driving to customer locations for pickup and positioning the truck safely for a secure lift.
  2. Ensuring customer satisfaction through reliable service.
  3. Dumping contents at designated recycling facilities or landfills.
  4. Reviewing run sheets for calls and identifying potential issues.
  5. Completing a thorough pre-trip inspection at the beginning of each shift.
  6. Fueling the truck and conducting a thorough post-trip inspection at the end of each shift.
  7. Documenting concerns for mechanic review and completing VCRs.

What We Need From You :

  • Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience with a clean driving record.
  • Roll-Off and/or Front-End Loader experience preferred.
  • Class 3 or higher driver’s license.
  • Excellent spatial skills for vehicle and bin positioning to ensure accident-free driving.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with dispatchers and customers.
  • Knowledge of the local area is a strong asset.
