Responsibilities

Our priority is to make sure we hire safe drivers that care about the service provided to the community. As a driver with us the minimum responsibilities are:

  • Drive to customer locations for pickup, and position truck safely to ensure a safe lift.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through reliable service.
  • Dump contents at designated recycling facility or landfill.
  • Review run sheet listing calls and identify any potential issues.
  • At beginning of shift, complete a thorough pre-trip inspection.
  • At end of shift, fuel truck and complete a thorough post-trip inspection.
  • Document any concerns to be checked by mechanic and complete VCR.

What We Need From You

  • Minimum 3 years commercial driving experience with a clean abstract.
  • Roll-Off and/or Front-End Loader experience preferred.
  • Class 3 or higher driver’s license.
  • Excellent spatial skills to position vehicle and bins effectively and drive accident free.
  • Effective communication skills to convey information to dispatcher and customers.
  • Knowledge of the area is a strong asset.
  • Physically mobile: able to climb in and out of truck.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug test.
