Class 3 Driver/Inside Sales (Full-Time) - Brandon, MB

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver high pressure cylinders, liquid containers and hard goods to customer locations
2. Load and unload cylinders, count and record quantities and styles of product to ensure actual load complies with shipping documents
3. Check and placard vehicle according to Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations
4. Complete shipping orders and related paperwork
5. Complete trip reports, fuel tickets and other necessary reports
6. Conduct pre and post trip inspections noting and explaining defects or deficiencies to supervisor

Experience:

1. Valid, incident free, applicable provincial Class 3 Driver's License and a clean driver’s abstract
2. A minimum of 2 years related experience
3. Knowledge of compressed gases and safe handling along with mechanical aptitude
4. Fork lift operation experience preferred

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

1. Able to manipulate a variety of cylinder sizes and weights as required
2. Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) training
3. Experience dealing with customers on the phone
4. Good computer knowledge and skills

Physical and Sensory Demands:

1. Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. repetitively
2. 60% sales
3. 40% loading and unloading and driving
