Job summary

Valard Construction is seeking experienced Class 1A Licensed Operators based in Saskatchewan. The role involves transporting equipment and materials to job sites, loading and securing loads, and supporting distribution work across rural areas.

You will follow HSE procedures and assist in emergencies while maintaining daily inspection logs. Candidates must reside locally or relocate, hold a clean Class 1A licence, and be able to pass drug and alcohol testing.

Qualifications

• Must hold Saskatchewan Class 1A licence with clean driving record.
• Experienced in transporting equipment to construction sites.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors for extended periods.
• Must pass Drug and Alcohol test at start and annually.

Responsibilities

• Transport equipment, poles, and materials to and from job sites using tractor-trailer units.
• Load and unload equipment following load securement rules.
• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and logs per regulations.
• Navigate rural roads and uneven terrain in varying weather.
• Assist with ground-level distribution work including material handling and site setup.
• Follow HSE policies, complete hazard assessments, report incidents.
