JOB DESCRIPTION

Midland Transport is currently seeking a Class 1 Tractor P&D Driver based in Sydney, NS Terminal. The selected candidate will be reliable, with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to providing superior quality service.

Main Role:

1. Manage time effectively, pick and receive packages, and ensure accurate and timely delivery to our clients' customers.
2. Maintain a great attitude and exceptional customer service skills.

Schedule: Monday to Friday (7:30 pm - 5:00 pm)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide efficient, reliable, and professional service to customers
• Handle variable shipment weights and freight handling equipment
• Process daily pickup and delivery records
• Perform pre-trip inspections of all units
• Schedule activities based on shipment volumes and customer demand
• Drive and operate equipment in accordance with safety regulations, traffic laws, and company policies

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 2 years of safe tractor driving experience
• Class 1 driver's license
• Clean driver's abstract and criminal record search
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Positive, enthusiastic attitude, committed to superior service
• Safety conscious
