John Ross & Sons Ltd. is the largest scrap metal recycling facility in Atlantic Canada and we are committed to exceeding our customer's expectations. We are currently seeking an energetic and safety-minded Class 1 - Shunt Driver to join our team in Goodwood.

The Shunt Driver will be responsible for operating a shunt truck to deliver and pick up sea containers at various locations within our steel yard. A minimum of 3 years Canadian driving experience is required, along with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Organize and load product
  • Safely navigate the vehicle
  • Ensure safety and security of cargo
  • Maintain cleanliness of vehicle
  • Report deficiencies to the proper manager
Qualifications and Skills
  • Must hold a valid Class 1 License
  • Clean Drivers Abstract
  • Minimum 3 years driving experience in Canada
