Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a reliable Class 1 Route Driver - Environmental Services to operate our specialized fleet across Saskatchewan. You will keep a steady regional schedule, interact with customers, and ensure safe, compliant handling of waste and materials.

The role requires a clean driver abstract, TDG knowledge, ability to travel overnight up to three days, and physical ability for heavy lifting. We value independence, safety, and a customer‑oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 license with clean driving abstract.
• TDG knowledge and experience.
• Ability to work independently and safely in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically able to perform heavy manual tasks including handling drums.
• Customer-oriented with a positive attitude.
• Willing to travel out of town with overnight trips up to three days.

Responsibilities

• Follows schedules and service orders as required.
• Provides on-site service to customers and promotes GFL’s offerings.
• Completes service paperwork in accordance with regulations.
• Operates transport equipment safely and maintains the truck cab and equipment.
• Participates in GFL’s safety programs.

Job Description Summary

We’re looking for a reliable, professional Class 1 Route Driver - Environmental Services to operate our specialized fleet (hybrid units, straight trucks, and bulk tankers) across Saskatchewan. If you want a steady schedule, guaranteed regional miles, and a job where you get out of the cab and interact directly with customers, this is the role for you.

Key Accountabilities

• Follows schedules and service orders as required
• Provides exceptional on-site service to customers and continuously promotes GFL’s service offerings
• Completes service paperwork in accordance with GFL and TDG regulations
• Operates all required transport equipment safely & ensures regular cleaning and maintenance of truck cab, components and other assigned equipment
• Participates in GFL’s safety programs

Requirements

• Class 1 Driver’s License (or provincial equivalent) with a clean driver abstract
• Ability to work independently
• Physically able to perform heavy manual labor, including moving and handling heavy drums
• Customer oriented
• TDG knowledge and experience
• Self-motivated and positive attitude
• Experience working in a safety sensitive environment
• Ability to work out of town and overnight trips up to three days at a time
