Job summary

Westfreight Systems Inc. is a Canadian-owned company seeking Owner Operators to run US lanes. Candidates must have a TWIC or FAST card (or be willing to obtain one) and may rent a trailer if needed.

Located in Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon or Winnipeg, you’ll join a growing team with strong dispatch support. Qualifications

• Must have TWIC card or FAST card or be willing and able to obtain one.
• Own trailer preferred but trailer rental is available until you can purchase one.
• Canadian ownership and operation with the ability to run US lanes.
• Must pass a criminal record check and pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate as Owner Operator running US lanes.
• Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Utilize company fuel card and participate in year-round dispatch support.
• Collaborate with dispatch and support teams to ensure timely deliveries.

Westfreight Systems is looking to hire an Owner Operator interested in running the US lanes. Must have either a TWIC card or Fast card or be willing and able to get one. Having your own trailer, 53ft flat deck is preferred but you will have the ability to rent one until you can purchase one.

What You Bring

• A positive CAN-DO attitude

• Class 1A Driver’s License
• Minimum 2-year highway experience with 1 year flat/step deck experience required
• Highway spec truck required53ft flat deck trailer is required

• A clean driver’s abstract with no suspensions
• Ability to cross the border
• Ability to pass a criminal record check & pre-employment drug screening
