Job summary

Westfreight Systems Inc. is seeking an Owner Operator to run US lanes. You may use your own trailer, 53ft flat deck is preferred, but a rental can be arranged until you purchase one. Base locations include Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon or Winnipeg.

Qualifications

• Owner-operator experience is preferred for US lanes.
• TWIC or FAST card required or willingness to obtain one.
• 53ft flat deck trailer experience strongly preferred; own trailer preferred but rental possible.

Responsibilities

• Operate owner-operator transportation on US lanes.
• Maintain safe driving practices and regulatory compliance.
• Cross-border duties including border crossings and documentation.

Westfreight Systems is looking to hire an Owner Operator interested in running the US lanes. Must have either aTWIC card or Fast card or be willing and able to get one. Having your own trailer, 53ft flat deck is preferred but you will have the ability to rent one until you can purchase one. Come join our growing team TODAY!! What you bring:

• A positive CAN-DO attitude
• Safety conscious approach to all job duties
• Class 1A Driver’s License
• Minimum 2-year highway experience with 1 year flat/step deck experience required
• Highway spectruck required
• 53ft flat deck trailer is required
• TWIC card or FAST card isrequired
• A clean driver’s abstract with no suspensions
• Ability to cross the border
• Ability to pass a criminal record check & pre-employment drug screening
