Job summary

Edge Transportation Services Ltd. is seeking experienced truck drivers to join our open dispatch network across North America. This role targets owner-operators through our PowerLease program and offers a path to truck ownership.

Qualified drivers will possess a Class 1A license with at least two years of highway experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass pre-employment screening. Strong safety culture and reliable, coast-to-coast availability are essential.

Qualifications

• Class 1A Driver’s License – minimum 2 years highway driving experience.
• 1 year flat/step deck experience required.
• A clean driver’s abstract with no suspensions.
• Ability to pass a criminal record check and pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate flat deck/step deck equipment across North America.
• Participate in open dispatch with coast-to-coast trips.
• Maintain safety and regulatory compliance during hauls.

Edge Transportation Services Ltd. specializes in flat deck, heavy haul & over-dimensional freight service throughout North America. From full truckload to less-than-truckload needs, experienced operators ensure secure and efficient transport.

In addition, we offer Drayage service which refers to a specialty logistics service that carries freight containers over a short distance, an essential part of intermodal shipping.

We take containers in and out of warehouses, rail terminals, ocean ports and harbors. This often involves taking huge steal shipping containers off rail cars and ship decks and then loading them onto truck trailers. From there, the container is transported to a warehouse or storage facility to get ready for the next step in the intermodal shipping process.
