Job summary

Edge Transportation Services Ltd. is seeking experienced drivers for an open dispatch role running coast to coast across North America. This position supports owner-operator growth through our PowerLease Program and offers a path to build equity in your own truck.

Candidates should have a Class 1A license with a minimum 2 years of highway driving experience and a clean driving record. We provide biweekly earnings, flexible financing, and a safety‑minded, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Class 1A Driver’s License with a minimum of 2 years highway driving experience.
• 1 year flat/step deck experience required.
• Willing to run on open dispatch coast to coast.
• A clean driver’s abstract with no suspensions.
• Ability to pass a criminal record check & pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate in an open dispatch, coast-to-coast network.
• Drive flat/step deck trailers across North America.
• Maintain a safe driving record and comply with regulations.
• Coordinate with dispatch for timely pickups and deliveries.

Edge Transportation Services Ltd. specializes in flat deck, heavy haul & over-dimensional freight service throughout North America. From full truckload to less-than-truckload needs, experienced operators ensure secure and efficient transport.
In addition, we offer Drayage service which refers to a specialty logistics service that carries freight containers over a short distance, an essential part of intermodal shipping.

We take containers in and out of warehouses, rail terminals, ocean ports and harbors. This often involves taking huge steal shipping containers off rail cars and ship decks and then loading them onto truck trailers. From there, the container is transported to a warehouse or storage facility to get ready for the next step in the intermodal shipping process.

Edge Transportation is growing and we're helping qualified drivers become Owner Operators through our PowerLease Program.
