Edge Transportation is growing and offers qualified drivers an opportunity to become Owner Operators through the PowerLease Program, with open dispatch and biweekly earnings, backed by an experienced team.

Qualifications

• Class 1A CDL required and highway driving experience.
• 1 year flat/step deck experience required.
• Safety conscious approach to all duties.
• Willing to run open dispatch coast to coast.
• Clean driver’s abstract with no suspensions.
• Ability to pass criminal record check and pre-employment drug screening.

Edge Transportation Services Ltd. specializes in flat deck, heavy haul & over-dimensional freight service throughout North America. From full truckload to less-than-truckload needs, experienced operators ensure secure and efficient transport.
In addition, we offer Drayage service which refers to a specialty logistics service that carries freight containers over a short distance, an essential part of intermodal shipping.

We take containers in and out of warehouses, rail terminals, ocean ports and harbors. This often involves taking huge steal shipping containers off rail cars and ship decks and then loading them onto truck trailers. From there, the container is transported to a warehouse or storage facility to get ready for the next step in the intermodal shipping process.

What You Bring:

• A positive CAN-DO attitude
• Safety conscious approach to all job duties
• Class 1A Driver's License - Minimum 2year highway driving experience required
• 1 year flat/step deck experience required
• Willing to run on open dispatch, coast to coast
• A clean driver's abstract with no suspensions
• Ability to pass a criminal record check & pre-employment drug screening
