The role features open dispatch across the continent with opportunities to join the PowerLease program, helping drivers become owner-operators. We provide a pathway to truck ownership, with support from an experienced team and potential access to Edge-owned trucks.

Qualifications

• Class 1A Driver’s License with minimum 2 years highway driving experience.
• 1 year flat/step deck experience required.
• Willing to run on open dispatch, coast to coast.
• Clean driver’s abstract with no suspensions.
• Ability to pass a criminal record check & pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate open dispatch routes coast to coast.
• Maintain safe driving practices and timely deliveries.
• Support from experienced team and powerlease program to own a truck.

Edge Transportation Services Ltd. specializes in flat deck, heavy haul & over-dimensional freight service throughout North America. From full truckload to less-than-truckload needs, experienced operators ensure secure and efficient transport.

In addition, we offer Drayage service which refers to a specialty logistics service that carries freight containers over a short distance, an essential part of intermodal shipping.

We take containers in and out of warehouses, rail terminals, ocean ports and harbors. This often involves taking huge steal shipping containers off rail cars and ship decks and then loading them onto truck trailers. From there, the container is transported to a warehouse or storage facility to get ready for the next step in the intermodal shipping process.

Edge Transportation is growing and we're helping qualified drivers become Owner Operators through our PowerLease Program.
