Job description

XTL Transport Inc. is seeking a dynamic Class 1 Cross Border and BC Highway driver to join our Langley team.

At XTL, customer satisfaction is our priority. We aim to deliver exceptional service consistently.

Responsibilities:

• Valid Class 1 driver's license
• Minimum of 2 years Class 1 long haul experience, including two consecutive winters mountain driving, preferably on the Coquihalla
• At least ONE full year of US cross-border experience
• Willingness to travel across all US states, Kamloops, Kelowna, Prince George, and within the lower mainland
• Availability to be on the road for 5-10+ days
• Reefer experience
• Meat inspection experience (asset)
• Clean abstract with zero moving violations and less than 5 demerits

Compensation:

• $0.65 per mile for US runs (includes 1 hr loading, border crossing, and unloading)
• Starting mileage rates:

Kamloops: $0.7380/mile

Kelowna: $0.8089/mile

Prince George: $0.7105/mile

• Hourly wait time outside mileage paid at $27.43/hr
• Weekly payroll
• Paid 2-day training, both in-class and in-cab
• Modern International trucks, renewed every 3-4 years
