Class 1 Local Pick-up & Delivery Driver Based in Provost, Great wages and $5,000.00 Sign-on Bonus!

Manitoulin Transport has the most extensive transportation network in North America, making it easy to provide dependable on-time delivery and faster transit times. With 60 years of experience, we have developed transportation knowledge that is relied on and trusted by clients across various industries.

Responsibilities:

1. Deliver and pick up freight in a timely manner.
2. Operate out of Provost, covering areas including Provost, Kindersley, Consort, and surrounding regions.
3. Work the Tuesday to Saturday shift with some flexibility.
4. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of equipment.
5. Assist with dock duties as required.
6. Secure freight for delivery and during pickups.

Qualifications:

• Class 1 license.
• At least 1 year of driving experience.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Knowledge of the local delivery area is an asset.
• Willingness to relocate to Provost if applying from outside the area.
• Deck experience is an asset.
• TDG, WHMIS, and Forklift experience are assets.
• Ability to provide a criminal record check, driver's abstract, and two work-related references.
