Job Description

1. We are seeking to fill a linehaul owner-operator position based out of Kamloops.
2. Potential routes include Kamloops and Watson Lake switch or between Kamloops and Vancouver.
3. 5-day shifts, including some weekends; flexibility is required.
4. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of equipment.
5. Dock duties as required.
6. Operate within company safety standards.

Qualifications

1. Class 1 license.
2. At least 1 year of experience.
3. Own newer equipment (7 years or newer), preferably red or white.
4. Reliable and dependable.
5. Deck experience is an asset.
6. Forklift certification is an asset.
7. Knowledge of TDG, WHMIS, and forklift operation is an asset.
8. Ability to provide a criminal record check, driver’s abstract, and two work-related references.
9. Current ICBC insurance coverage.
