Darling International Canada Inc., is Canada's largest provider of rendering and recycling services to the food industry, operating six processing facilities across Canada. POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Logistics Department, Truck Drivers are responsible for the pick-up and delivery of raw material and finished goods on a variety of routes and shifts. We currently have an opportunity for a reliable and conscientious individual to join our team as a Class 1 Truck Driver at our Winnipeg location.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the pick-up and delivery of raw material and finished goods on a variety of routes and shifts.
  • Tasks will include some physical demands such as repetitive pulling, pushing, lifting etc.
  • Accurate completion and submission of all required paperwork.
  • Evening shifts along with weekend work will be required depending on weekly route scheduling.

  • Conduct all interactions with customers and suppliers in a respectful, professional, and service oriented manner.
  • Required to formally report any concerns or customer service-related issues.
  • Responsible for following all company and Health and Safety rules and for communicating all reportable incidents.
  • Responsible to ensure that both tractors and trailers are maintained in a clean and presentable condition.
  • Ensure safe driving operations.
  • Responsible for effectively and efficiently dealing with ad-hoc issues that may arise.

    $30.18 Per Hour Plus Overtime after 40 hours

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
    Valid Class 1 License
  • Clean driving record
  • Customer service oriented
    Familiarity driving within the Province of Manitoba
    Flexible and willing to work overtime as required
    Team oriented and willing to assist with all routes
    Ability to keep up with physically demanding tasks such as repetitive bending, pulling, pushing, lifting etc.
