Class 1 Driver

Position Summary

Position Title: Class 1 Driver

Location: Terrebonne, QC

Duration: Full-time

Salary: Up to $28.50 per hour

Shift: Monday to Saturday (6-day schedule, but 5 working days per week)

Start Times: Start times between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. (day shift) or between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. (evening shift)

Description

We are looking for experienced Class 1 truck drivers who provide exceptional customer service to join our team and handle regional in-store deliveries. We offer full training, specialized equipment, and growth opportunities within a well-known company.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a Class 1 commercial vehicle for regional in-store deliveries
  • Perform tight-space parking maneuvers with precision
  • Ensure on-time deliveries while providing quality customer service
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Comply with all safety regulations and company procedures
  • Deliver products to various retail locations within the Greater Montreal area
  • Ensure “dock to dock” delivery or unload pallets using an electric pallet jack in grocery stores and retail outlets (reefer or dry van trailer)

Requirements

  • Valid Class 1 license + minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Comfortable driving in city and highway conditions, tight parking maneuvers, and backing into narrow docks
  • Ability to lift loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs) regularly
  • Excellent customer service skills – friendly, professional, and courteous
  • Clean driving record and must be willing to undergo a satisfactory background check
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends if needed
  • Compliance with company safety rules and hours of service regulations
