POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Logistics Department, Truck Drivers are responsible for the pick-up of used cooking oil on a variety of routes and shifts. You will also be responsible for filling in for other drivers on vacation or on sick leave. We are looking for drivers with a passion for driving and a commitment to the environment to join our growing team!

  • $45/day meal allowance for each day that you are out if out overnight. This is added to your pay.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the pick-up of used cooking oil from a variety of locations throughout the Atlantic Provinces
  • Familiarity within the Atlantic Provinces
  • Team oriented and willing to assist with all routes
  • Tasks will include some physical demands such as repetitive pulling, pushing, lifting etc.
  • Accurate completion and submission of all required paperwork.
  • Conduct all interactions with customers and suppliers in a respectful, professional, and service oriented manner.
  • Required to formally report any concerns or customer service-related issues.
  • Responsible for following all company and Health and Safety rules and for communicating all reportable incidents.
  • Responsible to ensure that both tractors and trailers are maintained in a clean and presentable condition.
  • Ensure safe driving operations.
  • Responsible for effectively and efficiently dealing with ad-hoc issues that may arise.
  • Other duties including yard and plant duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS ROLE:

  • Valid Class 1
  • Clean drivers/CVOR and abstract
  • Flexible to work overtime and a variety of shifts as required
