Job summary

New Way Trucking is seeking Experienced AZ/Class 1 Drivers for their Calgary location. The role covers multiple lanes including Calgary-Interior BC, Trail, Prince Rupert, Fort St. John and the Prairies.

Responsibilities include accurate log maintenance, safety checks, and effective communication with customers and dispatch. Qualified candidates will hold a valid Class 1 license, have clean records, and meet demerit point requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 Driver's license appropriate for Canada (AZ/Class 1)
• No more than 2 demerit points on commercial abstract
• Clean criminal record required

Responsibilities

• Haul freight on multiple lanes from Calgary to Interior BC, Trail, Prince Rupert, Fort St. John and Prairie provinces.
• Maintain accurate logs and safety inspections.
• Coordinate with dispatch, customers and safety teams to ensure on-time deliveries

*Multiple Lanes/Routes Available for Single Drivers-:

• Calgary - Interior BC (Additional BC Premium)
• Calgary - Trail (Dedicated 3 Trips/Week)
• Calgary - Prince Rupert (Dedicated 1 Trip/Week)
• Calgary - Fort St. John (Dedicated 3 Trips/Week)
• Calgary -Prairies (AB, SK, MB)

You should be able to:

• Communicate effectively with Customers, Dispatch, Managers, and Safety
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date log books.
• Perform Inspections and Safety Checks.

Key Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 Driver's License
• No more than 2 Demerit Points on Commercial Abstract
• No Suspensions
• Clean Criminal Record
• Familiarity with Reefer/Dry Van Trailers
