Job summary

Manitoulin Transport is seeking an experienced truck driver to cover Lloydminster and Cold Lake routes. You will ensure timely delivery and pickup of freight with a 5 AM start on a Monday–Friday schedule.

You may operate a tractor-trailer or a body, performing pre- and post-trip inspections and dock duties as required. Knowledge of the area is a plus; TDG/WHMIS and forklift experience are assets. Willingness to relocate to Lloydminster is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class 1 license.
• At least 1 year of pick up and delivery experience.
• Knowledge of the Lloydminster/Cold Lake area is an asset.
• Reliable and dependable candidate required.
• Deck experience is an asset; TDG, WHMIS, forklift experience are assets.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pickup freight in Lloydminster and Cold Lake region on a timely basis.
• Monday–Friday schedule with a 5 AM start.
• Flexible to operate tractor-trailer or body job.
• Perform pre- and post-trip equipment checks.
• Complete dock duties as required and secure freight for delivery or pick-ups.

Job Description

• The driver is responsible for the timely delivery and pickup of freight within the Lloydminster and Cold Lake area
• Monday to Friday schedule
• 5 AM start time
• Some flexibility required
• Flexible to operate either a tractor-trailer or a body job.
• Pre- and post-trip equipment checks.
• Dock duties as required
• Secure freight for delivery and at the time of pick-ups.

Qualifications

• Class 1 license
• 1 year of pick up and delivery experience
• Knowledge of the area is an asset
• Reliable and dependable

• Must be able to provide a criminal record check, driver's abstract, 2 work-related references
