The Shunter – Class 1 Driver role offers 40 hours/week over 4 evening shifts, starting at $22.62/hour plus a $2.00 evening shift premium. We value respect, commitment, and pride in our daily operations.

Qualifications

• Class 1 driver’s license.
• Excellent sense of priorities, organized and methodical.
• Proficiency in safe material handling methods.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude.

Responsibilities

• Shuttle between plants as needed (Shunter).
• Move trailers as needed.
• Maintain a driving log.
• Perform truck safety inspections.
• Load trucks according to proper work methods.
• Ensure that orders are complete in the trucks.
• Ensure the production line is cleared quickly to avoid slowing down production.
• Place furniture in the correct rows.
