Job summary

Armour Transportation Systems is seeking Professional Class 1 Drivers (Night shifts) for Grocery Highway operations based in Moncton, Miramichi, or Fredericton. As a Grocery Highway Driver, you will play a key role in delivering grocery freight safely and efficiently throughout the Maritimes while providing exceptional service to our customers.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 1 license with no restrictions.
• Minimum 2 years of tractor‑trailer driving experience.
• Strong understanding of highway operations and regional routes.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to an as‑needed schedule.
• Experience with freight handling and scanning equipment is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform highway runs to transport grocery freight between terminals and customer locations.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Safely operate Class 1 equipment in compliance with policies and regulatory standards.
• Load and unload freight with care and accuracy.
• Complete required documentation and scanning using handheld devices.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch to ensure timely, reliable service.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned equipment.
