Job description

Location: Bonnyville, Alberta

Timberwolf Environmental Services is currently seeking a Class 1 Driver with experience in loading and unloading equipment using machinery such as excavators and loaders. This is a full-time position ideal for a safety-focused, reliable individual who is comfortable operating and transporting heavy equipment across various job sites in the region. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity offering 12-hour workdays, with the possibility of shift work based on project needs.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate Class 1 trucks and trailer to transport heavy equipment and materials between job sites

• Load and unload and transport equipment to job sites and back, such as excavators, loaders, and other machinery

• Secure loads in compliance with transportation and safety regulations

• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance as needed

• Ensure proper documentation of deliveries, pickups, and equipment logs

• Work closely with dispatch and field supervisors to meet project timelines

• Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory guidelines

Qualifications:

• Valid Class 1 driver’s license with an acceptable driver’s abstract (must provide 3 year abstract)

• Experience operating, loading, unloading and transporting heavy equipment on low boy

• Knowledge of load securement and transport safety practices

• Strong communication and time-management skills

• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor conditions

• Experience in oilfield or industrial environments is considered an asset

• Safety certifications (e.g., H2S Alive, First Aid, CSO) are required
