Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is hiring a Class 1 Driver to deliver and recover equipment to customer worksites over diverse routes. You will operate flatbed or lowboy trailers, navigate tight job sites, and prioritize safety while maintaining high service levels for customers.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid Class 1 CDL with a clean record, and experience with flatbeds or RGN trailers. This is an on-site full-time role with benefits and training.

Job Description Summary Class 1 Driver

Sunbelt Rentals--the fastest growing rental business in North America--is seeking a Class 1 Driver. As a Class 1 Driver, you will deliver and recover a variety of equipment, tools and supplies to and from the customer worksite. This role will generally drive a Class 1 truck hauling equipment on on a flatbed (dovetail) or RGN (lowboy) trailer in a variety of conditions, including urban, suburban, rural settings. Ability to drive safely in tight settings such as construction zones is required.

Education or experience that prepares you for success

• Education High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid Driver’s license with a Class 1 CDL License and acceptable driver’s record

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on

• Prior training and/or experience with similar commercial equipment preferred
• Experience driving flat-beds, RGN/lowboy, dovetail trailers
• Ability to troubleshoot and make minor repairs to equipment and vehicle at job sites
• Customer service attitude

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.

Base Pay Range 24.42 - 36.62

Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
