Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. in Fort McMurray, Alberta is seeking a Class 1 Driver to safely deliver and pick up equipment from customer worksites. You will operate a flatbed or roll-back truck in urban and rural settings while representing the brand with strong customer service.

Role includes training on cranes and equipment operation, a steady Monday–Friday schedule during training, and career growth opportunities in sales, service management, or mechanics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Class 1 Driver’s Licence with clean driving record preferred.
• Experience with commercial equipment or heavy haul is a plus.
• Experience with crane trucks or towing is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and recover rental equipment using a Class 1 vehicle (flatbed or roll-back).
• Drive in tight jobsite environments (construction, commercial, events).
• Tow generators up to 20,000 lbs (experience preferred).
• Operate cranes (training available).
• Provide basic equipment demonstrations at job sites.
• Perform minor troubleshooting and repairs on equipment/vehicles.
• Deliver excellent customer service at each stop.

Sunbelt Rentals is looking for a Class 1 Driver to safely deliver and pick up equipment, tools, and supplies from customer worksites. You’ll operate a flatbed or roll‑back truck in urban, suburban, and rural environments—including tight construction zones—while representing our brand with strong customer service.

Shift:

• Monday - Friday during the 3-5 week training period
• Post training - 5 on,4 off / 4 on,5 off

Physical Requirements

This role requires:

• Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching
• Lifting 50+ lbs
• Working indoors and outdoors in various conditions
