Job Description

American Iron and Metal in Moncton is seeking an experienced Self Loader / Operator with a Class 1 License for over 2 years. Machinery experience is an asset; operational training will be provided if needed.

• Pick up and/or deliver to AIM’s clients or other AIM sites;
• Secure the loads;
• Tarp the load if necessary;
• Maintain the equipment’s cleanliness and good condition;
• Perform daily inspections;
• Keep reports updated;
• Work safely at all times;
• Other labor and operating duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
• Self Loader experience is an asset;
• Willingness to be trained in Self Loader operation if not already experienced.

Qualifications

• Class 1 license required;
• Good driving record;
• Minimum two years of experience.

Aptitudes Requested

• Follow all driving laws and regulations;
• Responsible, careful, and alert;
• Able to perform labor-intensive tasks;
• Good knowledge of roads in the Maritime Provinces.
