Qualifications

  • Able to complete routes safely in varied driving conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a tractor/trailer to make long-distance pickups and deliveries of finished products.
  • Check and assist in unloading of the trailer.
  • Fully inspect the vehicle prior to beginning the route to ensure proper and safe handling conditions.
  • Collect all proper authorizations prior to beginning route.
  • Maintain an accurate DOT log.
  • Ensure safety and compliance of load.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Complete Quality/Food Safety training as required.
  • Delivery of product to Frito Lay facilities and external customers in Eastern Canada.
  • Offloading trailers with hand carts or palletizing cases at destination.
  • Traveling safely with company controls and traffic legislation.
  • Be customer focused and be a team player.

Compensation:
  • $31.67 per hour with full-time hours and overtime opportunities

Responsibilities

  • Delivery of product to Frito Lay facilities and external customers in Eastern Canada with single or Long Combination vehicles (LCV's).
  • Offloading trailers with hand carts or palletizing cases at destination (average case weight is 4 kgs).
  • Travelling safely complying with Frito Lay Canada controls, Traffic Safety legislation, and Commercial Vehicle regulations.
  • Be customer focused and be a team player.
