Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Must possess valid certifications in H2S, First Aid, CSO
  • Vaild Class 1 License
  • Must have clean driver’s abstract with a minimum of five (5) years of commercial driving history (please include)
  • Load/ Cargo securement, Hours of Service, GODI/ Defensive driving / PDIC (Professional Driver Improvement Course), Fatigue Management, Commercial Vehicle Inspection, and Oilfield Driver Awareness are all recommended and will be assigned to complete in-house if required.
  • Rig moving / heavy haul experience is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Operate commercial vehicles, including heavy-duty trucks and trailers, to transport rig equipment.
  • Ensure the safe loading and unloading of equipment, adhering to company and industry safety standards.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles and equipment are in optimal condition.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of mileage.
  • Communicate effectively with Field Superintendent, Rig Managers, and other crew members.
  • Adhere to all legislative regulations and company policies.
  • Minor maintenance and servicing of equipment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients and site personnel.
