Are you ready to hit the streets of THE PAS, MANITOBA, Canada, as a Class 1 City P&D driver? We're looking for an enthusiastic and reliable professional to join our dynamic team, delivering packages and smiles throughout the city. As a key player in our logistics operations, you'll ensure timely and efficient pickup and delivery services while representing our company with pride.

• Navigate the urban landscape of THE PAS, executing local pickups and deliveries with precision and care
• Operate a Class 1 vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies
• Manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules and customer expectations
• Handle packages of various sizes and weights, ensuring proper loading and unloading techniques
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and any relevant documentation
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety
• Collaborate with dispatch and fellow drivers to optimize routes and delivery efficiency
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
• Adapt to changing weather conditions and delivery priorities with flexibility and professionalism
• Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 driver's license is required
• Minimum of one year verifiable professional driving experience
• Clean driver's abstract is essential
• Excellent knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns in THE PAS, Canada
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal abilities
• Physical fitness to handle package loading and unloading
• Ability to pass a criminal record check
• Proficiency in providing three professional work-related references
• Knowledge of Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations is preferred
• Familiarity with Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) is advantageous
• Forklift operation skills are a plus
• Demonstrated track record of reliability and punctuality
• Adaptability to work flexible schedules, including occasional weekends if required
