Job summary

Sanjel Energy Services in Calgary is seeking a Bulk Driver – Cementing to deliver cement and chemical mixtures to plants and well sites, operating pneumatic systems and maintaining electronic logs. This safety-sensitive role reports to the Manager - District Service Line and requires disciplined, safety-first driving.

Career progression includes Class 1 Driver, Operator, Supervisor, andBeyond, with on-the-job training and outdoor work in varying conditions across Canada.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 driver's license and clean driving abstract.
• Operational training and experience in Cementing or Pressure Pumping are highly valued.
• Able to drive safely in extreme outdoor conditions (weather, terrain).
• Safety-focused and team-oriented attitude.
• Prior oilfield off-road driving experience prioritized.

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks safely in shop, yard, on-location and while travelling.
• Maintain electronic logs (e-logs) and truck records per regulations.
• Keep maintenance schedules and pre/post inspection paperwork current.
• Follow Hours of Service regulations and drive safely per road conditions.
• Coordinate with crew in planning and execution of Sanjel services.

Job description

The Opportunity:

The Bulk Driver – Cementing will report directly to the Manager - District Service Line. The Driver is accountable for driving trucks and operating pneumatic conveyance systems to deliver cement and chemical mixtures to various locations including plants and well sites. This is a safety sensitive position.

Career Path:

• Class 1 Driver – Build on your Class 1 experience and develop Oilfield driving skills


• Operator – Advance into operating specialized pressure pumping equipment, and apply your learned expertise


• Supervisor – Lead crews and be responsible for both service and operational excellence


• Beyond – Continue your growth into senior / leadership roles for those who want to keep advancing

General Responsibilities:

• Drive truck in a safe, courteous manner at all times: shop, yard, on-location and when travelling


• Knowledge of and ability to maintain electronic logs (e-logs); maintains truck logs, according to federal regulations


• Keep paperwork current; this includes maintenance schedules, pre/post inspections


• Work within Hours of Services regulations, and driving Safely according to road conditions


• Communicate effectively with the crew in the planning and execution of Sanjel services

Qualifications:

• Valid Class 1 driver's license and clean driver's abstract


• Applicable operational training and experience in Cementing or Pressure Pumping Services a significant asset


• Capable of working and driving Safely in extreme working conditions (outdoors, weather, terrain)


• Team focused and a SAFETY conscious attitude


• Previous oilfield off-road driving experience will be prioritized

Individuals with Agriculture, or Military / Canadian Armed Forces experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
