  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance oversight.
  • Manage all operational aspects of claims handling.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of 12–14 adjusters across multiline claims (property, casualty, liability, specialty, etc.)
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance oversight to ensure team success
  • Manage all operational aspects of claims handling – 100% focus on team leadership, not file adjusting
  • Oversee technical accuracy, data input quality, and ensure proper billing practices
  • Monitor and manage team KPIs and performance targets, including diary compliance and productivity
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify process improvements
  • Provide technical support and build team credibility with clients and partners
  • Support reporting, analysis, and operational metrics to drive decision-making

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10years of experience in claims adjusting (multiline preferred: auto, property, casualty)
  • At least 2 years of leadership or team management experience in a claims environment
  • Strong technical background with demonstrated credibility in claims practices
  • Proven ability to coach and develop a high-performing team
  • Must have CIP and be licensed to adjust claims in multiple provinces
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Flexible and adaptable leadership style, capable of managing remote or hybrid teams
