AXIS Insurance is a world leader in specialty lines insurance, including professional liability within the Canadian market. We are seeking a talented and dynamic claim professional to join our Canada Claims team as a Claim Specialist. This position will provide specialized technical claim handling for primary and excess liability claims under our GL, EIL, Design Professional, and other Specialty policies. The Claim Specialist will determine the nature of loss and scope of coverage, actively manage and collaborate with external counsel to drive claims toward resolution. This role is ideal for a motivated, curious, and technically proficient lawyer or claims professional with the initiative and pleasant demeanor to work in a team setting and support internal and external clients such as insureds, brokers, underwriters, operations, and third-party administrator (“TPA”) partners.
