What it’s like to be a Northbridge Claims Manager

As a Claims Manager, you will be part of a dynamic team that prides itself on having a sharp eye on detail while keeping the customer experience top of mind. Our Casualty & Litigation Claims Managers work hard to provide support to our Claims unit and are the first line of conversation for the adjudication team. They are responsible for providing technical guidance, coaching and management of claims staff, ensuring efficient and prompt service in the investigation, analysis, and settlement of claims. They keep track of Key Performance Indicators and ensure that each claim is adjudicated in a timely and accurate manner.

Our Claims Managers are passionate about leading people; they continuously build and maintain engagement among the team. They have strong articulation and analytical skills, which make them effective communicators. Working in a collaborative leadership team, there is the opportunity for developing strategic initiatives which will allow our teams to stay on the forefront of new adjudicating methods.

We want your talent

If you are great at:

  • Casualty & Litigation Claims Adjusting experience

  • Being patient, analytical, on top of having a problem-solving mindset

  • Managing a team of Claims Adjuster, coaching, training, and mentoring

You have:

  • Post-Secondary Education in an Insurance focused program or related program

  • Completed or working towards the CIP designation

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the property and casualty industry

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of claims leadership experience

  • Strong adjusting background with in-depth knowledge of CGL and Auto BI

  • Strong technical skills with MS Office Suite

  • Ability to clearly communicate with Claimants, Brokers, and Legal Counsel

Salary range for Vancouver, BC is $100,000-$115,000.
