Who we are and why join the WRMIP?
In 1998, the Regional Municipality of Waterloo and the seven area municipalities (The Cities of Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo, and the Townships of North Dumfries, Wellesley, Wilmot, and Woolwich) formed the WRMIP. The WRMIP oversees insurance programs for these municipalities, manages their claims, and offers risk management services to all members.

Under the direction of the WRMIP’s Risk Manager, you will:
Your knowledge will include various statutes such as The Insurance Act of Ontario, Occupier’s Liability Act, The Negligence Act, The Municipal Act, The Ontario Building Code, The Ontario Fire Code, and other relevant legislation. You will also have extensive knowledge of insurance policy wordings and risk management principles.
Your qualifications will include at least 5 years of experience in the insurance industry, including but not limited to adjusting and processing claims, exposure related to property damage and bodily injury claims, and experience in loss control inspection or risk management analysis.
Salary Range: $79,581.04 to $91,823.38 (based on 5-step salary grid)
