    An established and growing Lloyd’s-approved Delegated Claims Administrator is seeking an Intermediate Claims Examiner to join their Vancouver-based team. This organization specializes in complex, first-party commercial property claims within niche and specialty insurance markets across Canada. The firm is known for leveraging technology and industry expertise to deliver timely and high-quality claims resolution.

    This opportunity is ideal for candidates with 2–5 years of experience in property claims who are looking to grow within a collaborative, fast-paced, and innovative environment.

    Key Responsibilities :

    Manage a portfolio of first-party commercial property claims from intake to resolution

    Interpret policy wordings and assess coverage on commercial property files

    Investigate losses involving perils such as fire, water, windstorm, theft, and vandalism

    Coordinate with adjusters, vendors, legal counsel, brokers, and insureds

    Analyze estimates and documentation to determine liability and settlement values

    Set accurate reserves and maintain them in accordance with internal protocols

    Recommend and negotiate settlements within authority limits

    Maintain clear, timely documentation and meet internal file quality standards

    Provide support on other lines (, Liability, E&O, Marine) when required

    Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing initiatives

    Candidate Profile :

    2–5 years of experience handling first-party property claims (commercial preferred)

    Strong knowledge of Canadian insurance regulations and property policy wordings

    Excellent analytical and organizational skills with strong attention to detail

    Clear, professional communication style—both written and verbal

    Able to effectively manage multiple files in a fast-paced environment

    Tech-savvy and comfortable in a paperless claims management setting

    Experience in a TPA, MGA, or Lloyd’s claims environment considered a strong asset

    Holds (or is eligible to obtain) a valid Level 1 Adjuster’s License in BC

    Exposure to related lines (Liability, E&O, etc.) is a plus
