We are looking for a Claims Advocacy Analyst to join BrokerLink and work out of our Alberta, Ontario or Atlantic offices, on a Permanent FT basis.
If you have previous commercial underwriting experience and are looking to broaden your skills in a department which handles complex risks, this is the opportunity for you! This role offers a hybrid working model.

What the role entails:
- Advocating for our clients when a claim does not go as expected
- Actively work with clients, adjusters, carriers, and to get resolutions for the client using problem solving, influencing and conflict resolution skills
- Answer inquiries provide assistance and education on the claims lifecycle and progress to clients and commercial brokers.
- Role will focus on subrogation assistance, loss run reviews and MGA subscription property claims
- Ask pertinent questions and connect with the carrier while advocating for our clients
- Follow up with client to determine if claim is being handled effectively and to their satisfaction
- Log and track information appropriately in the Broker Management System and in the advocacy team’s tracker
The successful candidate will have:

- High School Diploma and/or Post-Secondary Education
- 3-5 years Industry Experience, Claims adjusting experience an asset
- P&C Insurance License(s) across multiple Canadian provinces preferred
- High degree of professionalism, diplomacy and integrity.
- Excellent customer service skills and adept in conflict resolution.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure and deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; multi-tasking.
- Able to work both individually and on a National team
- EPIC broker management system is required
- Proficient in MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
