Opportunity

Millennium Insurance is looking for a detail-oriented and service-driven Claims Administrative Assistant to join our high-performing team. In this essential role, you'll support the smooth processing of insurance claims and play a key part in delivering an outstanding customer experience.

What you will be doing

As a Claims Admin Assistant, you’ll provide critical administrative support to the claims department. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing First Notice of Loss (FNOL) reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Entering and maintaining claim data in internal systems.
  • Organizing incoming and outgoing claims mail (courier and regular).
  • Handling glass claims end-to-end: from FNOL to confirming coverage and guiding the insured through the process.
  • Communicating professionally with policyholders, claimants, and internal stakeholders.
  • Supporting claims payments, invoicing, and cheque handling.
  • Ensuring compliance with policies and industry regulations.
  • Suggesting process improvements and assisting with general office tasks as needed.
  • Providing day-to-day support to adjusters and management

What you bring to the team

  • High School diploma (or equivalent).
  • Prior experience in an administrative or clerical role (insurance industry experience is an asset).
  • Familiarity with insurance terminology and claims processes is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems.
  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, high-volume team environment.
  • Customer-first mindset with professionalism and empathy.
  • Other Duties as assigned.
